This aircraft was a very simple and quick built. I built it straight out of the box. The cockpit was left alone, but should have added some extra details here as it only came with a seat, control stick and cockpit panel with no details (only waterslide decals for dials). There is also a simple representation of the Heinkel HeS 011 jet engine included with this kit, which, once assembled, you can’t see it anyway, so I did not bother to detail it. Landing gear bays are also very simple and devoid of any details.
I followed the suggested color scheme but did not use decals included with this kit. Instead, I used decals left over from a Heinkel He 162 Volksjager kit. In the end, the aircraft does make for a nice representation of the proposed Junkers Ju EF 128 German fighter that might have been introduced in 1946. In hindsight, I may have added more details in the cockpit, maybe added a couple of fuel tanks or missiles under the wings, and/or open up the engine compartment and shown off a detailed the Heinkel HeS 011 jet engine. This model depicts a Junkers Ju 128 Jagdflugzeug in Luftwaffe service in 1946.
