This kit is more or less a hybrid build. One of the main issue with this kit is that the twin tail of this aircraft was modeled too small. My solution was to cut off both tails and replace it with the tail from the old vintage Monogram F-82G kit (No.7561). The detail for the Monogram kit had raised panel lines which needed to be sanded down and scribed in new lines to match the Kits.

I wanted to portray the F-82G as a P-82A/B version as it may have look like in 1945/46 time period. Bombs and rockets added from my spare box. Decals came from AeroMaster (72-208) - Yellow Nose Mustangs of the 361st F.G.
